Students receive ‘Granny Hill’ scholarship

Recipients of the “Granny Hill” Scholarship Fund were announced recently through Piney Point Golf Club.

The fund was established in 1995 in honor of the late Ruth Hill. She was an avid golfer her entire life, playing 75 holes on her 75th birthday. There was frost on the greens that day causing a delay, but that didn’t stop her from finishing her 75 holes.
